The three Out of Sight books concentrate on common words that children need when first learning to read. The first book works on 45 words such as to, can, and go, and has 105 pages. The second book, Further Out of Sight, has 113 pages, carries on from the first book and covers more common words. The third book, Completely Out of Sight, has 152 pages and covers all the words in the first two books but with more emphasis on spelling. The sheets use a small steps approach. The three Puzzle it Out books offer a variety of motivating word puzzles and games. The Puzzle it Out books appeal to a wide age range, from the very young to older pupils who are still having problems with phonics. They can be used alongside any phonic programme.
